I have been put in charge of dressing our new baby girl. I don't think she has any reason to be as panicked as she appears to be, my wife would never have allowed me this role if she didn't trust me to do it right. (She still swears that I wore a sport coat with elbow patches on our first date. I do remember the jacket well, but highly doubt I would have considered it first date material. We have called a truce on that issue). So, with gratitude for her acknowledgment of my personal style, and the trust that I will exercise it responsibly with regards to Margaux, I have accepted this role wholeheartedly.
But with great power comes great responsibility right? Since she's only 4 months old, and still pretty much wearing nothing but onesies, I have had the chance to reflect on where I should look for guidance in this role. I think I've found them, my own holy trinity you might say. And while they might not be the alpha and omega of stylish female dressing, you would be hard pressed to find better.

So, the question remains, how would Audrey Hepburn, Carolina Herrera, and Marina Rust Conner chose to dress the fruit of my loins (assuming they had the time, willingness, and my stunted access to credit)?
